Here we have a rather lovely and rare 1 1/2" Scale Burrell Single Crank Compound. Made (we think) to the A J Every drawings that were at one time supplied by Fred Stone down in Kent, and certainly made by a skilled model engineer. The machining work, platework, woodwork,....even the paint job is first rate. It isn't a new model, nor is it an unsteamed mantlepiece display model, as it shows obvious signs of having been run many times. That said, it has been carefully and well looked after so is still presented in very tidy condition.
We haven't steamed it yet, but we will do shortly, and hope to upload a nice video to show it ticking over as soon as we can. A really interesting and different model to make a change from all the Royal Chester's out there!
